Believe the Gospel

Introductory steps to help believers and unbelievers find faith in Christ.

Get Saved - call on Christ to save you and be born again

Before a Christian can do anything else they have to start here! Whether you are new to the faith or returning to find it again, this is the beginning of everything we do. We invite all people to attend, learn, and grow so that they can believe the gospel for themselves.

 John 3:3, Romans 10:9

Be Baptized - take the first steps of obedience in your faith

Upon accepting Christ, the very first steps for a believer to take is water baptism. It does NOT save, but identifies us with Jesus Christ and humbles the heart in obedience to Him.

Matthew 28:19–20, Acts 8:12, Acts 18:8

Attend Church - join us for church gatherings and activities

Believers are called to live and serve together in a church. This may be new to people or perhaps they have been 'church hurt'. We invite you to join us for church activities and continue to learn more about what it means to believe the gospel and live for the Lord.

Acts 2:44–47, Hebrews 10:25

Read the Bible - follow our reading plan to learn God's word

We live at such a wonderful time in history to have a completed and preserved bible in the English language. We don't have to wonder what God thinks or who He is! We simply need to read and allow Him to reveal Himself to us through His word. We invite you to follow along on our church wide reading plan to learn more.

1 Timothy 4:13, Luke 4:4

Live the Gospel

Next steps to help believers grow to become a faithful disciple.

Get Discipled - learn to walk with God from someone else

The very first step in learning how to live our the Christian life is to follow someone else. In Christianity we call this discipleship. Through an intentional mentorship, disciples will grow through the doctrines of God's word and the accountability to live them out.

Ephesians 4:14, 2 Timothy 2:2, 1 Corinthians 4:15, Philippians 4:9

Steward Well - use your time, talent, and treasure for the Lord

God has given every believer specific things to steward. Disciples have those things surrendered to Him. As we grow deeper with the Lord, we learn to surrender our gift, resources, and identities to Him so that He can use them to forward His mission in reaching the world.

Matthew 6:21, 1 Corinthians 16:2, 2 Corinthians 9:6–8, 1 Corinthians 12:7

Become a Member - commit to living and serving together

Every believer is designed to live in community together with other Christians. The church is not just a social club or a Sunday experience, it is a body, a living entity where we are "members one of another". We need each other in fellowship, gifting in the Spirit, counsel and encouragement. Every member has a role to play as we work together to reach the world with the gospel.

Romans 12:5, Acts 2:42–46, Ephesians 4:15–16

Study the Bible - grow deeper in God's word

We CANOT grow without God's word. Only God's word provides enriching nourishment to live the out the gospel and the Christian life. This is a shift from devotions and favorite verses to rightly dividing and learning doctrine.

John 8:31, 2 Timothy 2:15, Hebrews 5:13–14

Share the Gospel

Maturing believers to perform the work of the ministry on their own.

Win Souls - be a soul winner and participate in outreach

Just like in parenting, this is not something an immature believer can handle. We must grow to walk with the Lord and be equipped with the gospel to reproduce sons and daughters of God.

Proverbs 11:30

Make Disciples - invest your growth into someone else

Everyone that has been discipled has an investment to make in another person. A combination of what the Lord has taught you as you've walked with Him, and the things others have invested into you needs to be deposited into other souls.

2 Timothy 2:2 , 2 Timothy 1:13, 2 Timothy 3:14

Teach the Bible - prepare and proclaim God's word for others

At some point, all believers are responsible for teaching God's word and investing in other people. The church needs a plethora of instructors and teachers, whether it be to children, young people, parents or adults. God's word is applicable to all stages.

Acts 13:1, Romans 12:7, Titus 2:1–6

Reach the World - get on mission and prepare to go

Not every Christian should be a pastor or missionary, but all should struggle with the possibility of it. It is the church's job to train, equip, and send believers on mission into the harvest, but we can only send the prepared and the called.

Matthew 28:18–20, Acts 13:2–3, 1 Timothy 5:22

Make it stand out.
